On 1st<\/sup> July 2019, our Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a massive national campaign titled \u201cJal Shakti Abhiyan\u201d. This movement is solely for protecting one of the most basic needs of humans i.e. WATER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t know, Jal Shakti Abhiyan will focus more on 5 main aspects;<\/p>\n

Water conservation and rainwater harvesting<\/p>\n

Renovation of traditional and other water bodies<\/p>\n

Reuse of water and recharging of structures<\/p>\n

Watershed development and<\/p>\n

Intensive forestation<\/p>\n

In a report from NITI Aayog<\/strong>, they stated that more than 21 major cities of India are expected to run out of groundwater as soon as 2020. This report then went viral as along the same time we got the news that Chennai which is one of the top Tier states has almost run out of water sources.<\/p>\n

This report has been considered as a warning before the storm. Since then we at Ruloans understand that more and more people need to be given information about the importance of saving water.<\/p>\n

In this series we will help you know how you can do your bit in saving water in small ways. \u00a0Today\u2019s topic is Aerator.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s an Aerator?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A water aerator is a tiny round object that can be fit on your kitchen and bathroom equipments. Through this you can save water to almost 50-60% use. There are less chances of water being wasted.<\/p>\n

Why should we use it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

A water aerator can help you in the kitchen while you are washing dishes. The water aerator helps you keep the plates clean with very less water. The same applies for washing clothes and using the shower. You can save so much water.<\/p>\n

Through these efforts you can play your part in \u201cJal Shakti Abhiyan\u201d and save water which can help us maintain water reserves for the future.<\/p>\n
